In the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI), a successful career path often begins with access to the right guidance. As part of our Erasmus+ project, “Unlocking Success in the Creative Industries: The Power of Peer Mentoring,” we gathered in Barcelona for a Co-Creation meeting to lay the pedagogical foundations of this support system.

This in-person event, involving key staff from Spain (OTOXO), France (Les Créatives de demain), and Turkey (EFTA), was a vital step in defining the project’s methodological backbone. During our sessions, we detailed the training methodology and clarified the division of labor among our partners.

Drafting Key Project Outputs

One of the most exciting results of this gathering was the successful development of the drafts for our core intellectual outputs:

  • MENTRA (Mentoring Training Program): We prepared the initial drafts for a practice-based vocational education curriculum tailored to creative industries.
  • MENTGEE (CCI Mentoring Guide): We outlined the framework for the handbook that provides practical case studies and tools for mentors.
  • MOP (Online Mentoring Platform): We finalized the planning for the digital infrastructure that will provide long-term access to all materials and facilitate mentoring sessions.

The spirit of collaboration in Barcelona has been our greatest source of motivation as we work toward increasing the employability of young talents and building a sustainable European peer mentoring network.
