MENTRA is a structured, practice-based mentoring training programme developed and delivered within the PeerMent project to strengthen mentoring competences in the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI). The programme was co-created by project partners and validated through implementation activities, ensuring that the content reflects real mentoring dynamics and practical needs.
MENTRA supports mentors in developing clear role awareness, responsible mentoring behaviours, and autonomy-oriented approaches. It provides structured workshop activities, applied scenarios, and reflective tools that can be used by VET providers, creative hubs, cultural organisations, and professionals mentoring emerging creatives.
MENTRA consists of six thematic modules, each focusing on a core dimension of effective mentoring practice, including communication, boundaries, power dynamics, expectation management, feedback, and digital mentoring. Each module is designed in a workshop format and includes learning objectives, guided reflection, and practical exercises suitable for direct facilitation.
Key features of the training programme include:
A modular and adaptable structure (six modules)
Facilitator-ready workshop flow with clear objectives and activities
Strong focus on real mentoring situations, reflection, and applied learning
Practical tools for managing expectations, power, boundaries, and autonomy
Suitable for formal and non-formal learning environments in CCI/VET contexts
Designed for reuse and integration into existing mentoring or training programmes.
