PeerMent Online Platform

The Mentoring Online Platform (MOP) was developed as the digital infrastructure of the PeerMent project to ensure long-term accessibility, sustainability, and continued use of its results.

MOP provides a centralised online environment where mentors and mentees can connect, organise mentoring sessions, access learning materials, and maintain continuity in mentoring relationships. The platform supports the implementation of the PeerMent mentoring model by hosting project resources and enabling structured interaction beyond face-to-face activities.

By combining a resource repository with mentoring functionality, MOP strengthens the scalability of PeerMent outputs and supports flexible use across vocational, non-formal, and professional mentoring contexts.

MOP was designed to support both access to project results and mentor–mentee interaction.

Key features include:

Website / Learning Repository

  • Central access point for PeerMent outputs (MENTRA, MENTGEE, and complementary learning resources)

  • Downloadable and reusable materials supporting independent learning and facilitation

  • Structured presentation of project results for dissemination and long-term access

Mentor–Mentee Functionality

  • Mentor–mentee matchmaking supported by a dedicated matching structure/algorithm

  • Scheduling tools to organise mentoring sessions efficiently

  • Resource sharing between mentors and mentees within the process

  • Progress tracking to follow mentoring steps and development over time

  • Online communication / discussions to facilitate interaction and continuity

Continued Use and Benefits

MOP was designed as a sustainability mechanism, enabling PeerMent results to remain active beyond the funded project period.

As defined in the project strategy, partner organisations integrate the PeerMent model and outputs into their ongoing training and support programmes, ensuring that new cohorts of mentors and mentees continue to benefit from the system. The platform remains available as an open access resource, and the consortium commits to maintaining its core digital presence, including hosting and continuity measures.

Through this continued use, MOP supports:

  • Ongoing access to mentoring resources for new learners and mentors

  • Long-term dissemination and uptake by external organisations and networks

  • Scalable implementation across different CCI learning environments

  • A practical bridge between training, mentoring practice, and employability-oriented support.
