On 25 November 2025, Les Créatives de Demain (Project Partner from Nice, France) hosted the PeerMent project dissemination activity in Nice, France, bringing together professionals, educators, and stakeholders from the creative and cultural sectors to explore the role of mentoring in supporting emerging talent.
The event introduced participants to the PeerMent project, focused on strengthening mentoring practices within the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI). In a sector where mentoring often happens informally, the project aims to provide structured tools and guidance that help mentors and mentees build meaningful and productive learning relationships.
During the event, attendees discovered the key project outputs, including the MENTRA mentor training programme, the MENTGEE mentoring guide, and the Mentoring Online Platform (MOP). These resources are designed to support professionals who mentor others in creative environments by offering practical frameworks, learning materials, and accessible digital tools.
Beyond presenting the project results, the dissemination activity created space for discussion and exchange. Participants reflected on their own mentoring experiences and highlighted the importance of strengthening mentoring cultures within creative communities.
The event in Nice helped raise awareness about PeerMent and its resources, encouraging wider use of the project’s open-access tools to support professional development and collaboration across Europe’s creative sector.
