Alongside tools designed for mentors, the PeerMent Project also focuses on empowering mentees. MENTGEE is a set of tools and guidance developed to support mentees in actively engaging in the mentoring process and making the most of mentoring opportunities.

In many mentoring relationships, the focus is often placed primarily on the mentor. However, effective mentoring depends equally on the active participation of the mentee. MENTGEE helps mentees take a more structured and reflective role in the mentoring journey.

The tools are designed to help participants clarify their goals, prepare for mentoring sessions, and reflect on their learning and professional development.

What MENTGEE offers

• Tools to help mentees define their learning and professional goals
• Guidance for preparing and structuring mentoring sessions
• Reflection exercises to support personal and professional development
• Methods to track progress during the mentoring process
• Practical resources that encourage active participation in mentoring

MENTGEE complements the other components of the PeerMent project. While the PeerMent Training Programme introduces mentoring skills and MENTRA provides a framework for mentors, MENTGEE ensures that mentees are equally equipped to participate in a meaningful and productive mentoring relationship.
