We are excited to announce the official launch of the PeerMent Project, a collaborative initiative funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The project brings together organisations from across Europe with the shared goal of strengthening mentoring capacities within the Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI) and supporting professionals working in these dynamic sectors.

The creative and cultural industries are characterised by rapidly changing working environments, project-based careers, and non-linear professional pathways. While these sectors offer significant opportunities for innovation and cultural expression, many professionals, especially emerging practitioners, often face challenges related to professional guidance, peer support, and long-term career development. Mentoring has proven to be one of the most effective approaches to support professional growth, knowledge transfer, and collaborative learning within such contexts.

The PeerMent Project addresses this need by developing practical tools, learning resources, and a structured mentoring approach tailored specifically for professionals and educators working in the creative and cultural sectors. By combining the expertise of project partners from different European countries, the project aims to design accessible and applicable mentoring resources that can be used by educators, trainers, mentors, and creative professionals.

Over the course of the project, the partnership will work together to design and implement a comprehensive mentoring framework supported by innovative learning materials and digital resources. These will include a structured training programme, mentoring tools and methodologies, and an online learning environment that enables flexible and accessible learning opportunities for participants.

The project consortium brings together organisations with diverse experience in education, mentoring, creative industries, and international cooperation. Through this collaboration, PeerMent aims to create a strong foundation for peer-based learning and mentoring practices that can support professionals across different creative fields.

In addition to developing training resources, the project will also focus on building a digital learning ecosystem where users can access learning materials, engage with mentoring tools, and explore resources designed to strengthen mentoring practices within the creative and cultural industries.

Throughout the project, the partners will share updates, insights, and project developments through this website and other dissemination channels. This will ensure that the results of the project are accessible not only to direct participants but also to a wider community of educators, mentors, and creative professionals across Europe.

We look forward to sharing the progress of the PeerMent Project and inviting professionals, educators, and organisations interested in mentoring and creative collaboration to follow our journey.
