As part of the PeerMent Project, a dedicated digital environment has been developed to support mentoring interaction and collaboration: the Mentoring Online Platform (MOP).
The platform provides a space where mentors and mentees can connect, communicate, and organise their mentoring activities in a structured way. It supports the practical implementation of the PeerMent mentoring approach and complements the training programme and mentoring tools developed within the project.
Mentoring relationships often take place across different locations and schedules. The Mentoring Online Platform helps overcome these challenges by offering a simple and accessible digital space where mentoring activities can be organised and supported.
What the Mentoring Online Platform offers
• A digital environment for mentors and mentees to connect
• Tools to support mentoring communication and collaboration
• Access to mentoring resources and project materials
• A structured space for organising mentoring sessions
• An accessible platform supporting the PeerMent mentoring approach
The MOP is designed to support both individual mentoring relationships and peer learning processes, making mentoring more flexible and accessible for professionals working in the creative and cultural industries.
Together with the training programme, the mentoring framework, and the learning resources, the Mentoring Online Platform forms an important part of the PeerMent learning ecosystem.
In the next blog post, we will introduce the PeerMent Learning Center and Self-Learning modules, where users can explore mentoring concepts independently and test their knowledge through a short quiz and certification process.
